Metro Dental is owned by Ngu and Dr. Lynn, who decided to join forces in creating a dental experience second to none in the in the greater Washington DC area.
Dr. Lynn Andoseh holds a Doctorate in Dental Surgery and is one of the top dentists in the region. She is among only 6% of dentists in the country to have been awarded a fellowship of the academy of general dentistry. Since graduating with honors in 2008, Dr. Lynn has devoted her career to serving communities in Maryland and Washington DC, as a family and cosmetic dentist.
Meet Dr. Lynn Andoseh
Dr. Lynn Mbandi is a licensed family and cosmetic dentist with 18 years of experience. She graduated with honors from Howard University College of Dentistry in 2008 and completed her residency in 2009 at The University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio.
Originally from Cameroon, Dr. Mbandi now calls Bowie, Maryland home, where she lives with her husband and two children. Her passion for dentistry began early, after seeing how limited access to dental care affected people in her home country.
Today, Dr. Mbandi is proud to care for patients in PG County and the surrounding Washington, DC metro area. She is passionate about preventing and treating oral disease and helping patients feel confident in their smiles.

Meet Dr. Lauren Williams
Dr. Lauren Williams is a caring general dentist at Metro Dental who was born and raised in Louisiana. She earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Spelman College, her master’s degree in medical sciences from Hampton University, and her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Tufts University. She also completed a general dentistry residency at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge.
Dr. Williams is passionate about helping patients feel comfortable, heard, and confident in their dental care. She enjoys meeting new patients, becoming part of their story, and helping them overcome fear or anxiety about visiting the dentist.
At Metro Dental, Dr. Williams looks forward to providing compassionate, high-quality care to every patient she serves.
Meet Dr Andrew Kary
Dr. Andrew Kary is an implant and surgical dentist at Metro Dental who combines engineering precision, military surgical training, and a calm, reassuring approach.
He focuses on dental implants, including single implants, full-arch bridges, and All-on-4 restorations, using advanced 3D imaging, digital planning, and guided implant placement.
Patients appreciate his steady demeanor, clear explanations, and ability to help anxious patients feel comfortable. Outside the office, he is a devoted father of three and enjoys 3D printing, photography, electronics, and cycling.
Dr. Daxa Thakkar is an experienced general dentist at Metro Dental known for her gentle approach, clear communication, and commitment to high-quality care.
She has practiced dentistry in both Canada and the United States, with experience in restorative dentistry, periodontal care, CEREC crowns, Invisalign, molar root canals, wisdom teeth extractions, and implant restorations.
Patients appreciate her calm chairside manner and ability to help them feel comfortable and informed. Fluent in English, Hindi, and Gujarati, Dr. Thakkar enjoys caring for patients from many backgrounds and helping them achieve healthy, confident smiles.
